Commit to the Bag
We are living in a world that is financially driven. Many grow up idolizing a culture that shows how important money is to feel like you have become successful. Most of the world wants to get to the United States because of the ability to achieve the American Dream. They do not look at the American dream as living homelessly and living in a homeless shelter. The American Dream that they are pursuing is that you can accrue wealth and, with that wealth, purchase a large house, purchase a nice car, and send their children to a good college.
People look at people who come and reach the American Dream as a hero, a story of success, but then create villains out of people who vocalize that their goal is to be rich. I think that is because people always want to see a success story but rarely want to see someone do better than them. What you should do is take every single inch of yourself and commit to the bag. The mental shift occurs when the realization comes that you are selfish if you can make more money and choose not to.
First, I must go on an aside and say that you cannot make money. The government will not let you. Every dollar you want to collect in this world is currently in someone else’s hands, and because of that, you must become a people person. If becoming financially free is something you want to do, you cannot do it by yourself. You also can’t do it simply with the people that you know now. If your immediate friends and family were going to make you rich, you would already be rich. I know your parents told you growing up not to talk to strangers, but you aren’t 7 anymore. Strangers have every dollar you want to make.
Now back to it, I say deciding not to make more money is being selfish because you cannot help others without being able to help yourself first. Many people are afraid of money, and I think that is why there are not that many people with it. I want you to forget everything you know about money for a second. You have been lied to about money, and this is why I am telling you to commit to the bag. You will no longer hate people who are successful because the moment you can celebrate success, you can have it.
Let’s think about where the majority of you are getting your information from and how that is affecting you. How can you become a millionaire asking people who make $60,000 a year how to be successful? Knowledge is power, but the wrong knowledge will keep you from being successful. You can have a happy life if you decide to go work for someone and never look to grow and chase a bag, but if you want to be free in a free world, money is the only way. Think about your friends who are worried about how much gas is. If you are one of them, then you have no chance of making it to the upper level of money. Do you think someone with a private jet thinks about the 500k they spend a year flying around and up keeping the plane? The answer to that question is no, and that is because they are committed to growing the bag.
